A Letter From The Villest Dreamer Zairis TéJion Miles: Thank You FAYNC

Honestly… thank you!

I’ve been sitting with everything that happened with FAYNC DREAMERS, and I’m still trying to fully process it. This started as an idea in my head. Something I kept talking about, planning, imagining, and believing could exist here in Fayetteville. So to actually see people walk through the doors, connect with each other, support the artists, pick up the magazine, have conversations, and experience the world I had been envisioning… that meant a lot to me personally.

One of the moments that really stuck with me was seeing people come from outside of Fayetteville and even outside of North Carolina to experience this. A lot of y’all were in town for the J. Cole Fall Off concert, but you still took the time to come see what FAYNC DREAMERS was about. You chose to experience our creative community, our artists, our culture, and what we’re building here. That honestly made me proud.

To every volunteer who showed up early, stayed late, helped set up, broke things down, welcomed people, helped artists, ran around handling the little things, answered questions, and helped keep everything moving, I see you. FAYNC DREAMERS would not have been what it was without y’all.

To every Artist, DJ, Creative, Collaborator, and Person who contributed their time and talent, thank you for trusting me and trusting the vision enough to be a part of it.

To our Sponsors and Partners, thank you for putting real support behind this idea. It means something different when people don’t just say they believe in what you’re doing, but actually step up and help make it possible. I’m genuinely grateful for every contribution, connection, resource, and conversation that helped bring this together.

FAYNC DREAMERS was never just an event to me. I created it because I genuinely believe there are so many people here in The Ville with incredible ideas, stories, talents, and dreams that deserve to be seen. I wanted to create a space and experience where people could come together, feel inspired, meet somebody new, discover something new, and leave feeling like “yeah… there’s something happening here in The Ville.”

Seeing people from different places come into our city and experience FAYNC DREAMERS for themselves was a beautiful reminder of why I started all of this. To everybody who showed up, traveled, volunteered, performed, created, collaborated, sponsored, shared a post, brought somebody with you, bought our first print magazine, or simply told somebody about FAYNC DREAMERS, thank you. You helped turn something that was once just an idea in my head into something real and I don’t take that lightly.

I’m proud of Fayetteville, I’m proud of our creatives, I’m proud of the Dream Team, And I’m proud of everybody who continues to dream here.

Most importantly, I’m grateful that you trusted me enough to dream with you.

FAYNC DREAMERS was just the beginning.

I’m already excited for Next years FAYNC DREAMER September 9–11, 2027.
