What’s good FAYNCMAG fam! I hope all is well and that you’re still enjoying the Spring Issue. Our team is always on the grind to keep y’all updated with the latest news in the city. Yesterday, we had the privilege of attending the 2023 Fayetteville Woodpeckers Media Day at Segra Stadium and it was a vibe. The event was held in the AEVEX Veterans Club. The FAYNCMAG team along with other local media outlets were greeted by the Woodpeckers organization. The first order of business was introducing the new Marketing Director, Ashlei Elise, and General Manager, Michelle Skinner of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers. Not to mention, this season will include a wide variety of community engagements such as meet ups with players and fans, daily stadium specials and many more surprises.
Shortly after, we conducted one-on-one interviews with some of the players on the team. The team was able to interview a few players and the new Ballpark Manager while also getting some amazing footage. Be sure to check that out. After the interviews were wrapped up it was time for the players to hit the field. The team was able to capture the Woodpeckers in action and honestly they looked like a very strong team. In practice alone, the players were not afraid to hold back, hitting more than a few balls out of the park. Personally, I was shocked when one player completely shredded the entire baseball by strength alone.
