Where the creativity was fresh, and the vibes were well-stocked.
D.O.P.E. = Don’t Overthink, Patronize Entrepreneurs.
Let’s just say... the shelves were stocked and the community came to shop AND show out at the debut of the D.O.P.E. Pop-Up Market on Saturday, May 3rd. Curated by the visionary Al Bowman of Al Bowman Creative, this wasn't your average market — it was a full-on experience, blending fashion, culture, and entrepreneurship into one flavor-packed event.

FAYNC Mag rolled through to sample the goods — and trust us, this market delivered the whole package. From fashion to art to community orgs doing the work, this market had it all. Bowman’s passion for the culture was on full display, merging fashion, entrepreneurship, and grassroots connections into one unforgettable experience.
Right at the entrance, we were greeted by ZHA’Tajia, setting the tone with fit check interviews and good vibes all around. It wasn’t just a market — it was a full-blown celebration of creativity and community.
The vendor list? A whole mood board of excellence. Each brand and organization brought their top-shelf goods to the table, from handmade art, culinary excellence, community resources, to fashion-forward fits:
Amway
Flyer Aero Apparel by The Renaissance Tailor
Soulful Tees & Threads
The Wax of Life Candle Company
Talk about a lineup! Each brand held it down, sharing their work and purpose in a space filled with nothing but love and support.
FAYNC MAG Lookbook:
We did some shopping, added some paint strokes to Black Canvas' community art peice, and chopped it up with the good folks of Black Artist Forward.
Before checking out (pun very much intended), we made one last stop at the custom D.O.P.E. Pop-Up Market photo installation. Shoutout to Collyn owner of Croo Studios who captured crisp, creative headshots that made for the perfect event takeaway.
If you weren’t in the mix this time, don’t worry — another D.O.P.E. drop is coming soon.
Keep your eyes peeled and your carts ready. This market is just getting started. 🛒🔥
