On “procastination (broke)” FAYNC native J. Cole talks about his inspirations, his work on the album and realness. He mentions how his success and financial freedom doesn’t allow him to relate to the struggles anymore and reassures the listener that his next album is being worked on. Y'all already know we been ready for the new music and album!
This song was released as a release on the YouTube channel of the producer, bvtman, as requested by J. Cole in a message that became the cover art. The instrumental was released the 10th of June, 2022 and according to Cole, he stumbled upon it out of curiosity when he was feeling uninspired. Cole recorded this song and gave it to the producer “thank you to you and every producer out there cooking up and sharing their work with the world”.
