Where to Celebrate J. Cole’s The Fall Off in Fayetteville

If you’re from Fayetteville, you already know 2-6 isn’t just a date — it’s a feeling.Every February 6, the city shows up to celebrate the culture, the creativity, and the pride tied to “the 26” — a number that’s become shorthand for where we’re from and how we move.

2-6 Day has grown into an unofficial hometown holiday. It’s about supporting local businesses, highlighting artists, pulling up for community spaces, and honoring the Ville’s impact far beyond city limits. And this year? The energy is unmatched.

Because J. Cole chose 2-6 to release The Fall Off — an album years in the making — and Fayetteville is responding the only way it knows how: together.

Why The Fall Off Makes This Year Different

J. Cole has never separated his success from his hometown. From name-dropping Fayetteville in his music to investing back into the city, he’s made it clear that the Ville is part of the story — not just the origin.

The Fall Off feels like a milestone. A reflective, intentional body of work that longtime fans have been waiting on, and one that lands with extra weight when it drops on 2-6 Day. For Fayetteville, it’s not just an album release — it’s a shared moment.

And the city is outside to celebrate.
