The heat is cranking up in Fayetteville, and with that comes FAYNC Magazine’s newest issue, FOLLOW THE SUN. Full of vibrancy and unapologetic charm, this issue drops tomorrow, June 19th, and no matter how you look at it, this one is a must-read.

Every page tells a story that can’t be missed out on without regretting it as we honor the past while looking towards the future simultaneously. Enough of that though, let me fill you in on what this one has in store.
As I mentioned before, we’re celebrating the history of Fayetteville while embracing the path ahead. With that, I have the pleasure of talking with Black Canvas founder Thomas “Tommi” Ferguson, a brilliant creative and innovator who pours his heart into every aspect of his passions.
We also welcome billboard-charting Michael Daughtry into the studio for an energizing, captivating performance that speaks to the soul in a new episode of FRQNCY on FMtv.
In a series of photos capturing a memorable summer feeling by Brian Santiago, a.k.a. “Saint Shotti,” the nostalgia continues when it meets with contemporary flow face-to-face.
Starting off as individuals, Al Bowman and Nevaeh Shell blend their ambitions together to form FWRD. – Editor-in-Chief Zairis T. Miles discuss this legendary collaboration and what it has in store in a new FMtv interview.
We then sit down with Jamil Rashad and Michelle Clark of Westdale Vintage, a passionate duo who bring a refreshing aura to the city by providing it with a truly vintage feel that Fayetteville hasn’t seen before.
Lastly, Isaiah Jones AKA "Treesintheville" joins Admin Lead Christina in an interview talking about his eclectic journey as a visual artist exploring his passion for the crafts of graphic design, ceramics, and photography.
If all of that sounds interesting to you, make sure you tune in on Friday, June 19th when the issue drops. Seriously, it’s a piece of work that truly reflects FAYNC and Fayetteville in its best form!

If you want to celebrate this moment even more, don’t miss the release party from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday, June 20th, where you can meet the FAYNC team and chat with the community members featured in the issue you just read. Located at Haymount Truck Stop, this free occasion welcomes a community like no other celebrating the creatives, change-makers, and minds behind this entire project. The future of Fayetteville has never shone so boldly before.
Sound like your vibe? RSVP here so we know to expect you.
In case you want to continue the festivities, directly after the release party until 11pm, Zairis TéJion and FAYNC Magazine-sponsored skateboarder and DJ EDMS spin their soundtrack, “This is What Summer Sounds Like.” The party goes well into the night with good vibes, connections, and memories that I’m sure you won’t forget.
With all that being said, stay cool and tune in to FAYNC Magazine’s FOLLOW THE SUN issue on Friday, June 19th. We hope to see you there.
